New Puppy II

So I thought I would use my 85 1.2L to take some puppy photos but I quickly learned that I can't move as fast as this little guy. Every time I would get him framed in the viewfinder, focused, and just about to press the shutter he would be gone! I should have used the 24-70mm it's much faster than me. I am totally in awe of this photographer http://www.cowbellyblog.com/ Her pet photos are so cool - especially graffiti wall dogs. How does she get them to sit so nicely? I have got to learn the secrets. A couple more of my favourite pet photographers to check out: http://www.bevhollisphoto.com/ and http://www.erinvey.com/.
Here are some more puppy pics. I have a few more to edit and upload. Enjoy!

New Puppy

My Sister-in-Law just got the cutest Cockapoo puppy. His name is Cooper and he is just 8 weeks old. We met at the off-leash park today and of course I had to take a few snapshots of this cutie. Needless to say he got many ahhhh's at the park. Although his little paws were cold he kept wriggling out of our arms to run around with the big dogs. I only had time to edit this one photo but there is a lot more to come. Enjoy!

I Knew Them When...

Just who are these guys anyway? Well, I'm hoping one day I can say I knew them when they were young guys playing in a band called Panic Land http://www.myspace.com/paniclandband
You guys were so cool to work with. Enjoy!

Loving the New Blogger

I am having so much fun customizing my blog. I can't believe how many options there are now. I just figured out how to change my font to Comic Sans! Thanks to all those great people out there for their tutorials.
I'd like to take a moment to thank all my friends for their encouraging words and believing in me even when there are times when I don't believe in myself. Goal #2 for 2010 is practice, practice, practice.
Dear friends and bloggers don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of my page and sign up to get my updates by email.
Here are just a few more snaps of my favourite brother and sister team. I am totally loving their fun spirit and interaction with each other.

Brother's Turn

Well I've been back to work now for a week and one of my resolutions or goals for 2010 is to post at least once a week. So here are some photos of little brother.

I'm loving it!

Isn't he adorable!

A Few More

Camera Love

My camera just loved this girl. I don't think I had one bad picture of her. Watch out America's Next Top Model.

Awesome Teens II

This brother and sister team really like and respect each other. It warms my heart to see such closeness. I'm really loving black and white conversions. You'll see more in upcoming posts. Enjoy!

Awesome Teenagers

This brother and sister duo were so awesome to photograph. They were so polite and were willing to do anything I asked them. I love photographing teens because I actually have time to set my camera properly and usually get my focus right on (unlike when I am running after little kids -smile). There are so many photos from this session that I would like to share so stay tuned. Enjoy!

Just A Little Peek

Big Sister II

Big Sister

Big sister was so much fun to photograph. She has such a beautiful smile and a wonderful spirit.

Beautiful Beach Curls

One of my favourite photographers www.tarawhitney.com/justbeblogged mentioned on her blog how much she loves beach hair. I have to agree. Just take a look at this sweetheart. Those curls make me melt. Her Mommy and Daddy are dear friends of ours and when they came to visit us at the lake I couldn't resist taking some photos. Thanks for letting me snap away. Enjoy!

Happy New Year!
