The Jimmy Legs

The members of The Jimmy Legs http://www.thejimmylegs.ca/  are a talented, fun, and energetic group of guys. They are playing at the Niverville Old Tyme Country Fair in Manitoba on Friday June 11th, 2010. Go check them out. I had the opportunity to photograph their group shot for the Fair's magazine. (My second published photo -smile). They were definitely fun to work with and perfect gentlemen.

I thought I'd post a couple of photos of my latest band session. They are called 77split. This session was extra special because my son is in the band. He is the one with the crazy hair {smile}. Since he is the drummer, band practice is at our house in our living room! My husband and I have been going out a lot more on band practice days. Check out their music at www.myspace.com/77split

Shooting Wide Open

Here is another cutie pie from my class. I decided to try photographing wide open at f1.6, ss1/3200, and iso 320. I was so surprised to be able to get both eyes in focus. I see that it takes a lot of practice shooting wide open but the results are so dreamy. She looks like an angel.

The next two images were taken at f2.2, ss 1/2000, and iso400. Still dreamy!
